Nintendo Harmonica
posted by Kyle on April 13th, 2010
While playing Contra, our song about the Nintendo cheat codes, we have occasionally mentioned the fact that you need to blow into a Nintendo game cartridge to get it to work. Were they really that dirty?
Well, now that could produce sweet, sweet music!
If you were wondering what to get me for my baby’s birth, this could be a great gift.
Check out the NES harmonica store or get creative and steal their idea to make it yourself!

A few pictures from the past

While we were in Louisiana, someone got stuck (we won’t mention names) and Dan towed him out. I am sure the school loved the huge ditches in their grass the next day!
Disclaimer: Popple had nothing to do with the stuck truck, or the trenches in the yard. We only saved the day.

Then, while at Trinity school in Arkansas, we got to play a song with their mascot! I forget what his name was(is).

Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord
posted by Kyle on March 25th, 2010
“Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will.” Psalm 40
Mary was given a choice. She said, “Yes.” Could she have said, “No?” Of course she could have.
Some might say that she was too holy to say, “no.” That reduces her to a God-robot that doesn’t have free will and reduces her “yes” to an automated response – not as powerful.
We all have free will. Hopefully we can make the right choices. Today we celebrate a woman who did.

We recently played for a Ball State benefit concert to help then with their trip to Haiti. I just got this picture from Derek.
Let’s remember to pray for the people of Haiti and those that are helping with their needs.
Remember any donations or prayers for Haiti gets you free music at www.aftermassrecords.com.
