1. You’ve Got to
Written By Kyle Heimann, © Popple 2004-2009
Acoustic guitar with the hip hop flavor
Popple plays it cool like a – refrigerator
Love it right now, or wait until later
It’s acoustic guitar with the hip hop flavor
You’ve got to
Feel the music listen to the flow
Hear it pumpin’ as you crank up the stereo
At the party or in your phat ride
Just roll the windows down so everyone can hear it (outside)
Everyone’s jamming feel the beat nod your head
The rhythm takes you over, are you feeling what I said?
You rock until you can’t stand it, until you hit the floor
The whole neighborhood has formed a line outside your door
I’m a little teapot short and stout
Here is my handle, here is my spout
When I get all steamed up, hear me shout
Just tip me over and pour me out
You go and…
Meet that special someone try the latest pickup line
Everyone around here is having a good time
I’d like to take a minute cause I want you all to know
That everyone around can’t help but tap their toe
If you want to start a party just pop in this compact disc
And invite some people over if you’re not chicken, take a risk
The whole world will love you, if only for a day
When they hear the kazoo being rocked this way
(Kazoo solo)
Patty cake, patty cake, bakers man
Bake me a cake as fast as you can
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty back together again
Acoustic guitar with the hip hop flavor
Popple plays it cool like a – refrigerator
Love it right now, or wait until later
It’s acoustic guitar with the hip hop flavor
You’ve got to say it and mean it
Get out there and prove it
You’ve got to check your parking meter
Get your car and move it
You’ve got to share your talent
Your treasure and your time
You’ve got to speak up
Or act it out like a mime
You’ve got to seek the truth out
Never stop believing
You’ve got to fertilize
The gifts that you’ve been given
If you’re joking or rapping
playing music or ball
You’ve got to give the glory to the one who made it possible
You’ve got to
Feel the music listen to the flow
Hear it pumpin’ as you crank up the stereo
At the party or in your phat ride
Just roll the windows down so everyone can hear it (outside)
Everyone’s jamming feel the beat nod your head
The rhythm takes you over, are you feeling what I said?
You rock until you can’t stand it, until you hit the floor
The whole neighborhood has formed a line outside your door

3. Pencil in the Hand
Written By Daniel Harms, © Popple 2009
I am a pencil in the hand of a writing God
Writing love to all the world
I am a pencil in the hand of a writing God
Writing love to all the world
Oh You put me on your canvass
Oh You draw me round in circles
Oh I’m spread across the landscape
And what is beautiful, is all because of You
I am a pencil in the hand of a writing God
Writing love to all the world
I am a pencil in the hand of a writing God
Writing love to all the world
Oh, all I can do is scribble
Oh, but You can make it wonderful
Oh, I will never be perfect,
But in Your hand, perfect is what I am
You give me free will
To do what I want to do
You give me free will
I am a pencil in the hand of a writing God
Writing love to all the world
I am a pencil in the hand of a writing God
Writing love to all the world

4. Little White Square
Written By Kyle Heimann, © Popple 2009
Oh little white square
I wonder if you’re for me
I’m trying to stay open
To the possibility
I pray every day
Should I be part of a pair
Or should I be a guy
With a little white square
So the world tells me
That I need a fancy home
A big SUV
With wheels made of chrome
2.5 kids
If I want to fit in
A stable office job
With a leather chair to sit in
I know it won’t be easy
Either way a sacrifice
On this Earth will be worth it
I’m sure heaven is nice
It’s not about what I want
So my only prayer
Is should I buy a ring
Or a little white square
I’ll take shotgun if you’ll be the driver
You’ll be the axle and I’ll be the tire
I’ll be the spark but you’ll be the fire.
Oh little white square
I wonder if you’re for me
I’m trying to stay open
To the possibility
I pray every day
Should I be part of a pair
Or should I be a guy
With a little white square

5. We’re Getting Loud
Written By Kyle Heimann, © Popple 2009
We see the world fall apart
And it may even break our heart
If we feel anything at all
It’s easy to sit here and think
“Boy their life – it must stink”
And not help out – or scream or shout
And we call that devout
We think that sin is only action
But it’s also our lack of reaction
We’re getting loud
We won’t give up
We won’t be silent
Though we won’t fight
We won’t back down
When the money changers
Need their tables flipped
We’ll be getting loud
A dramatic pause
It won’t help our cause
Love must be a verb. An action not a word
The ones before us came
Will we fan their modest flame
I want to change and rearrange
Priorities, hey, call me strange.
Our voice, it must be heard
To not speak up would be absurd
We’re getting loud
We won’t give up
We won’t be silent
Though we won’t fight
We won’t back down
When the money changers
Need their tables flipped
We’ll be getting loud
One thing that I’d like to mention
Despite my best intention
I am no better than any other
But hey, we’re all in this together.
We’re getting loud
We won’t give up
We won’t be silent
Though we won’t fight
We won’t back down
When the money changers
Need their tables flipped
We’ll be getting loud

6. Not What You Think
Written By Kyle Heimann, © Popple 2009
I love Pineapples
And I love the color blue
But the one thing I love more than that
Is the fact that I love … bananas
I can play the nose flute
I’m licensed to teach
I like conversations
And long walks ..with . .bananas
I watch romantic comedies
I can bake you pie
I can be real sensitive
And I’ve been known to . . eat bananas
I go to mass on Sundays
Sometimes in between
I go to confession
To keep my soul clean
…then eat bananas

7. Heist
Written by Daniel Harms. © Popple 2006
A man walked in to a bank one day
And he had inside his coat
A device which could end your life
But in this instance it won’t
He walked in through the front door
His heart was cool, calm and collected
The words he’d practiced a thousand times before
They would echo on and on
His heart went, “bum bum bum bum, bum bum bum”
His heart went, “bum bum bum bum, bum bum bum”
And he said, “high, high put your hands up to the sky,
this is a heist – a hold up but it’s different now this time
because I don’t want any money, I just want your time.”
And the people in the town,
put their hands and purses on the ground
As their hearts picked up and they went,
“bum bum bum bum, bum bum bum.”
And he said, “Just listen to my story
Can’t you help me find my mind?
I had it once and now it’s gone, it’s left me far behind.
I’d like it back, I’d like it back, I’d like it back again
By the way,” he said “my name’s Tim.”
He said, “high, high put your hands up to the sky,
this is a heist – a hold up but it’s different now this time
because I don’t want any money, I just want your time.”
And the sirens sounded loud, the police, they circled ‘round
But inside that bank they found…
The people were talking then they were laughing,
then they were saying to each other,
This isn’t a crime the situation is fine,
This is a chance to help our brother
The people were talking, then they were laughing, then they were saying,
It’s fine, fine this man here is fine
It was a heist, a hold up but it’s different now this time
Because he doesn’t want any money
He just wants our time
It’s fine, fine this man here is fine
It was a heist, a hold up but it’s different now this time
Because he doesn’t want any money
He just wants our time

8. Puppy Dog
Written by Daniel Harms © Popple 2006
I’m looking up
And I’m looking down
Trying to find the place that I’ve lost and I’ve found
Away from my home, I’m away from my bone
And I am just a puppy dog,
Out here all alone.
What’s this I’ve found,
What’s this I’ve seen
It just seems too familiar for it not to be,
It’s a place that I’ve known
It’s a place I call home
And I am just a puppy dog out here all alone.
I’m looking up
And I’m looking down
Trying to find the place that I’ve lost and I’ve found
Away from my home, I’m away from my bone
And I am just a puppy dog,
Out here all alone.

9. Salt & Light (Mt. 5)
Written By Daniel Harms, © Popple 2009
You are the salt
You are the salt of the earth
May you never loose your flavor
You are the light
You shine bright in the night
Don’t ever be concealed
A city on a hill, it cannot hide
So let your good works shine
Let them shine, Let them shine
Let your light shine out to all of the earth
Let your light shine on every good work
Let your light shine out to all of the earth
So the world will see
A city on a hill, it cannot hide
So let your good works shine
Let them shine, Let them shine
Under a bushel under your feet
Don’t let me be
You are the salt
You are the salt of the earth
May you never loose your flavor
You are the light
You shine bright in the night
Don’t ever be concealed
Let your light shine out to all of the earth
Let your light shine on every good work
Let your light shine out to all of the earth
So the world will see

10. Given
Written by Daniel Harms © Popple 2004
I’d given all I had
Given every piece of me
And You’d given all you had
The givings of Your giving tree
And this water is turning rough
And the skies are turning grey
Will I be strong enough,
To give You all I have to give today?
I’d given up on hope
Relying on my piece of mind
Now faith is all I know
And faith in You is what I find
And this road is turning rough
And our shoes have worn away
Will our souls be strong enough,
To give you all we have to give today?
And you want love
And you seek peace
So you give up
All of the things you don’t need
I’d given all I had
Given every piece of me
And You’d given all you had
The givings of Your giving tree

11. Fishers of Men
Written by Daniel Harms © Popple 2008
You’re calling me out, out on the water
You’re calling me out, out on the sea
I didn’t ask for this,
I didn’t ask for this,
You gave it to me.
You’re calling me out, deep in the water
You’re calling me out, deep in the sea
I didn’t ask for this
I didn’t ask for this
I never asked for this
You gave it to me
You shall now be fishers of men
You shall now be fishers of men
So leave your boats on the shore
And leave your home by the sea
Come follow me.
You’re calling me out, out on the water
You’re calling me out, out on the sea
I didn’t ask for this
I didn’t ask for this
You gave it to me
You shall now be fishers of men
You shall now be fishers of men
My foot was stable, now I sink
I’m reaching Lord, You’re reaching out to me
My foot was stable, now I sink
I’m reaching Lord, You’re reaching out to me
My foot was stable, now I sink
I’m reaching Lord, You’re reaching out to me
My foot was stable now I sink,
I’m reaching Lord, You’re reaching out.
You’re calling me out, out on the water
You’re calling me out, deep in the sea

12. The Proof is in the Pudding
Written by Kyle Heimann © Popple 2009
People always ask me about this and that
People want to know the truth
But they aren’t satisfied with your opinion
People want to hear that you have proof
So, when I am asked one of these questions
I have a simple answer for them
The Proof is in the pudding
The Writing’s on the wall
The Early bird catches the worm
Even if he is small
The darkest hour is just before dawn
The customer’s always right
If there is something you’re disputing – just know
The Proof is in the pudding
Chocolate, vanillia, there’s no pudding I don’t like
Irish puddings come in black and white
Pudding isn’t gray
It’s absolute—ly delicious
The Proof is in the pudding
The Writing’s on the wall
The Early bird catches the worm
Even if he is small
The darkest hour is just before dawn
The customer’s always right
If there is something you’re disputing – just know
The Proof is in the pudding

13. T-Fig (and the Party on the Mountain)
Written by Daniel Harms © Popple 2009
I want to build a tent here
I could live like this forver
White is white and so clear
What we have could not be better
What’s this cloud doing here?
All around our ears
Causing me to tremble
And my tongue to stutter
Want to stay right here
With Moses and his beard
Elijah and my brothers
Gotta climb down from the top
All I want is to stay higher
And this feeling will not stop
I could set the world on fire
What’s this cloud doing here
All around our ears
Causing me to tremble
And my tongue to stutter
Want to stay right here
With Moses and his beard
Elijah and my brothers, my brothers
I have changed, I’ve been transfigured, but how would you know
I still look the same on the outside but inside I glow
What’s this cloud doing here
All around our ears
Causing me to tremble
And my tongue to stutter
Want to stay right here
With Moses and his beard
Elijah and my brothers, my brothers

15. Papal Disco
Written by Kyle Heimann © Popple 2009
We’ve heard Catholic hip-hop and rock and roll bands
And that got them dancing the Vatican
Nobody knows where this all began
But nobody can dance like the Pope can
It’s the Papal Disco
The Papal Disco
Hold on tight cause you can’t let this go
Everybody’s doing the Papal Disco
The YMCA has been sang in dance halls
But this time we’ll be dancing with Priests and Cardinals
It’s got everyone running to the shopping malls
To buy some bell bottoms with the b16 sidewalls
It’s the Papal Disco
The Papal Disco
Hold on tight cause you can’t let this go
Everybody’s doing the Papal Disco
We got them dancing down in St. Peter’s square
Who needs fog machines with incense in the air
The nuns can break it down like you wouldn’t believe
We got all the Bishops dancing – no one wants to leave
It’s the Papal Disco
The Papal Disco
Hold on tight cause you can’t let this go
Everybody’s doing the Papal Disco
